Powers the AI Chat feature. When you use AI Chat, your messages and your baby's basic information (age, development stage) are sent to OpenAI's API to generate personalized parenting advice. Data is processed transiently to generate responses and is subject to OpenAI's privacy policy. We obtain your explicit consent before sending any data to OpenAI.

What Data Is Sent to OpenAI

When you use the AI Chat feature, the following data is transmitted to OpenAI:

  • Your chat messages and questions
  • Your baby's age and development stage (to provide relevant advice)

This data is used solely to generate a response to your question. OpenAI does not store your personal data beyond what is required to generate the response, and it is not used to train OpenAI's models by default. You can revoke your consent at any time from the Privacy Settings within the app.

  • Analytics Data: Aggregated and anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement
  • Backup Data: Retained for up to 30 days after account deletion for recovery purposes

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes.
